What a day: fresh snow, sunshine, deep blue sky, telemark skies, and nice slopes. That’s how I like it 
Luosukuru and walls of Varkaankuru were excellent Today. the snow was like silk under the skies… Too bad that this was the last skiing day of the trip, maybe the last day of season?
On the other hand, there is more snow than ever I can remember and I don’t have any plans for wappu, yet.
Yll?ɬ§s showed some of it’s best sides during weekend: sunshine, decent temperatures, and modest winds. however, no real spring snow out there yet. powder is hiding in the forests. One good run behind Kellostapuli Yesterday, but pretty warm way out from the woods…
Now it’s snowing but wind is winding down from the morning, maybe it’s soon time to hit the slopes again.

Finally we got first white day! Luckily this happened on Sunday so there was also time to go out and enjoy it. More photos in Flickr…
There were few snow flakes dropping down from the sky Today in Helsinki But it’s all gone already… Hopefully, we will get some more during the weekend. It would be nice to get some fresh white views for a change!
Evidently, the winter is coming also to Helsinki There was already thin ice cap over sheltered sea shores. Interestingly ice was left hovering into air…
After all this noise around on blogs, I decided that I need my own too Especially, now when I found theme for the blog: we are going for a ski trip to Canada this winter and I anyhow like to keep some notes on the organizing the trip and especially on skiing in Canada. More on the trip will definitely follow…
Anyhow, I will also try to write on all ski trips in future and on other skiing related topics, when I feel so. I might also comment not so skiing related topics every now and then, but let’s see. If someone actually reads this blog, it would be nice to hear what you want to learn.
