<p>Doing any sensible testing of the real mountain performance of the skis is pretty much impossible in Southern Finland, so I have to rely on reading reviews and recommendations <img src='http://skiersthoughts.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif' alt=':(' class='wp-smiley' />  To narrow down the choices I asked advice from very helpful <a href="http://www.skiservice.fi/">Ski Service</a> folks while I picked my ski boots from fitting (the plastic had shrunken again). They recommended <a href="http://www.k2skis.com/products/skis.asp?id=1">K2 Apache Coomba</a> (181 cm) for my use case.</p>
<p>Based short study with <a href="http://www.google.com/search?q=k2+coomba+review">google</a> people seems to happy with their first experiences and the specs look promising, so Ski Service is pretty close on getting my money again. This time I&#8217;m going to mount my <a href="http://pistehors.com/backcountry/wiki/Gear/Fritschi-Diamir-Titanal-II">Diamir Titanals</a> directly the skis and figure out later if I get new telemark skis&#8230;</p>
